Queensland 1 shilling multiples - mint

Here are some examples of multiples of the 2nd sideface 1 shilling issue. Many of these multiples are on the mauve thick beer duty paper issue of 1895 (Stanley Gibbons 205). This is not surprising. In late 19th century Australia there were many keen stamp collectors and this issue was widely known about and highly sought out. No doubt many mint blocks and multiples were purchased and put away
